War of The Worlds

I am truly speechless as what to say after listening to this. I feel like I just watched a feature film. The sound effects, the dialog, the "acting".  I can not wrap my mind around that this was produced in the late 30's.  I really enjoyed it and now understand why some people prefer this type of entertainment. I listened to this while I was working on my flip book and I really like how I was still able to listen to the story even though I was drawling and coloring. If I didn't know any better I would of thought that it was a real emergency broadcast that was airing at the time. I feel like I was doing my homework while the rest of the world was in a state of emergency, it was a weird feeling. I kept trying to look up and see a t.v. but there was nothing there. I kept searching for an image to associate with what I was hearing but their was nothing their. I do not know why my brain has been trained to search for the images related to what I am hearing but it is really weird to be put in a situation that stretches what my brain has been trained for. I really liked the broadcast and I wish we still did things like this today! But with no ads... Just the story!
